Sleepless Nights
The past few days had been rough. My children decided that the only way to fall asleep is to have Mommy around! One of them actually woke up a few hours before dusk one day and STAYED AWAKE for the rest of the day. I was behind exhaustion and told them that if they keep this up, they'll have to go to the hospital for a sleep study. (I ended up spending 10 minutes explaining what sleep study is...sigh.) Well, they didn't know that I was bluffing and at least one of them made an effort to sleep without Mommy around...thank goodness! Hopefully everyone will sleep like "normal people" tonight.

What is that on the picture?
Question: What is the creature on both of my blog and profile pictures?
Answer: The graceful and magnificent sea dragon. What a beautiful live form! It possesses beautiful movement and color as if it is performing a dance of a lifetime. I am absolutely mesmerized by this creature's quiet strength and incredible beauty!

A Perfect Breakfast
Our whole family had breakfast together today. It's a special event because today is a weekday and family breakfast rarely happens on a weekday due to work or school. I opened the kitchen window before preparing the meal. I thought to myself, "What a glorious morning!" as the sweet summer air filled my senses with comfort. The children sat and behaved like "normal people." No one spilled anything and nobody argued over silly things. It was a perfect breakfast (for our standards.) Life is good!

Trouble with potty training...please help!
My little one would not do #1 in the bathroom. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Oh, NO!!! Summer's Almost Over!
Summer is almost over and I am starting to feel the stress of the "mommy politics" awaiting me when school starts:
- The popularity contests amongst the cliques.
- "Loving moms" showing off where they had taken the children over the summer.
- The chatterboxes blocking the entrances to the school letting you know that they own the school.
- Painful than root-canal dealings with jealous, narrow-minded, shallow, over-competitive women.
- Women chirping about what they are wearing while giving me the once over.
